We know what we have, but unfortunately, the Church hierarchy is badly corrupted. Else he would have been shown the door after the Pachamamma garbage, at the very least. On the good side, he has no authority to change magisterial teachings, beginning with the Bible. He can declare all the garbage he wants, but it has no merit. By canon law, his authority actually ended when he brought idols into Saint Peter's Basilica.
