There are lots of non-denominational Protestant churches that preach the true gospel. The catholic church was a lost cause almost from the beginning.
You can’t speak of the Catholic Church is such general terms. I made the mistake of talking about non-Catholic churches in such general terms and got a note from the Religion Moderator. Better watch out.

Pay no attention to Salvation. Anyone who reads the Bible knows catholicism is a false religion, but some can’t see the forest through all the trees.
