Speaking as a Catholic, the USCCB have, since 1973 and before with their wholesale rejection of Humanae Vitae, Not spoken out against birth control and resultant abortion on the grounds that they are not to be political

Yet on matters of politics involving leftist issues, illegal immigration, environment, education the USCCB is vocal, quiet and enabling non vocal on matters of horrific violent abuses carried out by its own clergy. And quite opposed to the teachings of the Church as available to any lay person in the catechism, common decency and natural law

If the president, being correct in his reiteration a of Abp Viganò, (Who actually must be in exile for speaking the truth), must be at odds with the USCCB, it is not his fault it is, to the contrary, the fault of any clergy. On adherent you the Church
