How do we help people turn back to God?

I know many that have left the practice of the Catholic faith, some are relatives, most have gone to different protestant versions of Christianity.

Some say is what is taught about salvation, once saved, always saved, future sins are already forgiven, etc.

I am not sure that protestant practices will lead to salvation, and most cannot defend their doctrines or even intelligently discuss their doctrines. They all seem to have a hatred towards the Catholic faith.

I have given out books, “Why We’re Catholic” by Trent Horn to friends and family. They all promised to read it, but seem unwilling to fully discuss the book.

Yes I keep praying for them and our enemies. Thanks for listening.

Some folks say it is because most people are moralistic therapeutic Deists, but I think its really that no one really understands what Heaven means.

Heaven has to be a place worth a lot of effort or its not important, it also has to be a place that is worth it. No one really thinks about how good a place heaven is, so its not worth their time.
