In a poem, Camara wrote: “I dreamed that the Pope went mad, and he himself set fire on the Vatican, and on Saint Peter’s Basilica. Sacred madness, because he set the fire, and the firemen in vain tried to extinguish it…. For a Pope to live the Gospel, we have to imagine him in full madness.”

Regretfully we are seemingly entering a time of choosing between denying and rejecting Christ or facing terrible consequences and retribution.

It takes little imagination to envision our own so called religious leaders betraying the faithful and it even seems many are looking forward to being instrumental in forcing us to choose and leading the charge for meting out the punishment for making “the wrong choice”

Don’t know how we have fallen so far so fast, but it’s plain to see where we are heading at a rapidly accelerating pace.
