‘Catholics for Biden’ enlists high-profile dissident ‘Catholics’ to sway Catholic vote

'Catholics for Biden' has announced some three dozen national co-chairs, including some of the most dissident 'Catholics' in the country

September 15, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – In an attempt to scrape up support from Catholics for Democrat Joe Biden’s presidential bid, the recently launched “Catholics for Biden” organization has announced some three dozen national co-chairs, including some of the most dissident “Catholics” in the country.

One of the organization’s newest co-chairs is Carolyn Woo, former president and CEO of Catholic Relief Services (CRS), which is run by the U.S. Catholic bishops.

During her tenure at the scandal-plagued CRS, Woo doubled down on the organization’s “commitment to maintaining dues-paying memberships in contraception and abortion spreading organizations, providing funds to abortion and contraception distributing organizations, and retaining the employment of a vice president who is a homosexual activist in a same-sex ‘marriage,’” according to a Lepanto Insitute Report.

Democrats have good reason to try to pull out all the stops to garner Catholic support for their candidate: In 2016, Catholics pulled the lever for Republican Donald Trump over Democrat Hillary Clinton, 52% to 45%.

According to the National Catholic Reporter (NCR), the hodgepodge of high profile “Catholic” Biden co-chairs – many of whom have waged war on pro-life initiatives and individuals – includes:

All seven other members of the U.S. Congress serving as co-chairs for “Catholics for Biden” also sport 100% ratings from NARAL Pro-Choice America:

Other co-chairs include Democratic strategist and media commentator Donna Brazile; former Ambassadors Elizabeth Frawley Bagley, Kevin O'Malley, and Tim Roemer; Former Obama White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough; and former Obama Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack.

“We believe the Biden-Harris agenda is deeply aligned with the common good values of Catholics and people of faith and much more aligned with those values than what we see from the current administration,” Josh Dickson, faith engagement director at Biden for President, told NCR

Cardinal Gerhard Müller, the former Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, recently told EWTN’s Raymond Arroyo that Catholics must vote for politicians who are “for life.”

“And it’s better to vote for a good Protestant than for a bad Catholic. We must judge according to what they are doing and not only [according] to their words. That is biblical criteria. Look to the fruits,” he said.

Numerous priests have come out saying that no faithful Catholic can vote for Joe Biden and have called the “Catholics for Biden” group a “scam,” and a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.” Father James Altman, a priest in the diocese of La Crosse, Wisconsin, recently went as far as saying “You can not be Catholic and be a Democrat.”

Saint John Paul II once stated that the right to life must be defended with “maximum determination” as the “most basic and fundamental right and the condition for all other personal rights.”

“Above all, the common outcry, which is justly made on behalf of human rights—for example, the right to health, to home, to work, to family, to culture—is false and illusory if the right to life, the most basic and fundamental right and the condition for all other personal rights, is not defended with maximum determination,” he proclaimed in 1988.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops stated at their most recent gathering that the “threat of abortion remains our preeminent priority because it directly attacks life itself, because it takes place within the sanctuary of the family, and because of the number of lives destroyed.”

All this, while U.S. francisbishops are either sanctioning priests or forbidding them from talking about politics; yet are giving Holy Communion to all of the above apostate catholics.

Wouldn’t ‘Catholics for Biden’ be tantamount to

Atheists for God

or

Pacifists for War

Would tend to be an oxymoron of the umpteenth degree...

It is simply impossible for a practicing Catholic to vote for baby killers.
If they are voting Democrat they are CINOs.

Some might say it is time for the Laity to step up and make themselves heard.....

It’s time to stand in the driveway of your Parish Church with a sign that reads....
If you vote for Pro-Abortion and Anti-Family Democrats.....you aren’t really Catholic regardless what you tell yourself

Cajones, anyone ?

Praying for their soles, they better hope they are not met at the pearly gates by the soles of the aborted babies numbering about 40 million. Would not want that on my record come judgement day.

Canon 212 says the laity has the right, responsibility, and at times the duty to make their voices heard. Now is one of those times when we must push back!

How about

The ONLY thing that Muslims & Jews agree upon is NO HAM.

Maybe if we could mass introduce them to a Denny’s Bacon Special menu which had such treats as Bacon Shakes and other such ‘untried by me’ specials.

Maybe PDJT could sit down the Ms & Js and forcibly introduce them to BACON, there would be world peace.

HEY, nothing else has worked.......<: <: <:

HERE’S WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS FATHER SON TEAM IN ILLINOIS . In March 2019,Kamala Harris cosponsored the Equality Act, which would amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 . Among other things, the bill would force public schools to expand female athletic teams to include biological males who identify as transgender girls,..She has also did this http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3877896/posts and this http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3880192/posts

HERE’S HOW THEY TREAT CONSERVATIVE CONGRESSIONAL DEMOCRATS WHO DONT SUPPORT STUFF LIKE THIS

And why there is no such thing as a Conservative Dem in Congress an example is Illinois 3rd district

Todays Democrats weren’t happy with his funding votes against abortion and on being the only congressional democrat to vote NO on allowing men to to call themselves a women and compete with women in college sports.
Those who live in Chicago already voted at their local public library. But in the reshaped 3rd Congressional district Daniel Lipinski lost because of redistricting. Of a district which had previously included adjacent Chicago city wards to his 23rd.

That was a district where those city wards were predominatly composed of traditional value family oriented Catholic/Christian communities opposed to funding such things as abortion and LGBT activities rather that dealt exclusively with city issues such as a subway L service and the Stevenson Expressway. Those Wards were reliable William O Lipinski supporters of Dan’s father. But since most had areas with hispanic last names those areas were redistricted and assigned to the Gutieriez’s district. Those results are posted below which actually tear up the concept of a neighborhood and pit people against each other by using division. In some of those wards areas of city blocks which were zoned exclusively for single family dwellings residents suddenly found their neighborhood having houses torn down and being replaced with multiple apartments with the units not required to furnish parking facilities and many renters were illegals. Much of which fit the plans for the suburbs
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3881650/posts

What the in name only Democratic Party has been doing in gerrymandering remapping has been singling out areas of various districts where it is dominated by a minority and create a single district out of it which not only disrupts those districts affected of getting civic services needs but pits one group against the other. An example of this is in what Chicago did here;

COULD THIS BE WHY CHICAGOANS ARE SEEING RATS
The city of Chicago is composed of 50 wards which average out to around 72 precincts of about 350 or more voters in each precinct. Many are former villages incorporated into the city as the city grew. . A Chicago Alderman is in effect a mini mayor. They have input into who gets city services and now it’s how those services are being administered seem to be running into who’s ward is it ?.

50 years as Alderman Ed Burke who is under federal charges for corruption ward is an example. Burke’s ward ,14th, needed remapping . The 14th was originally known as “Back of The Yards” Once the home of the famous Chicago Stock Yards where most food processors along with employee demographics have since relocated.

It was a compact area almost 25 plus city blocks square area composed mostly of single and 2 story frame and brick family dwellings mixed with scattered brick apartment units. Because of the construction, insurance rates varied and became known as the condemned as “redlining”. When the Clinton democrats also warily supported by the Bush 2 administration came up with the no 20% down payment requirement for loans mortgage removed. Areas in the ward dramatically changed in demographics. Many of those dwellings sold under those conditions went into disrepair or default.

Originally his ward headquarters and palace was on 51st street just west of Damen Avenue. Today’s palace is just off of Pulaski Road near the Madam Curie high school just off of Archer Avenue miles away.

His ward now consists of areas carved from parts of the 12th (known as Mc Kinley Park and Brighton Park) and parts of the 23rd (known as Archer Heights Garfield Ridge and Clearing) wards Miles from the original 14th.

In a former section of the 23rd ward now the 14th ward in the Midway airport area, 2 patrons in a local bar along Archer avenue were heard complaining about rats in their garbage. They felt it was because of the delay in garbage collection. Also heard the same beef about street snow removal.

It has also played hell on zoning and because of the disruption of jurisdictions with the administration of city services such as streets and sanitation which the alderman (salary $120.000 plus allocations on local projects) do oversee and have input over.

By.employing this concept of remapping are residents are being denied the representation they should have ?
