That was my choice. I was born Catholic, moved to Episcopalian as that was my wife’s church and I felt they still fell under the True Church. However, found out that they are essentially an arm of the Democrat party and the very left wing side at that. Individual Episcopal Church’s are still REAL churches in every sense, but the national leadership does not follow bible. Now coming home.

Having left the Episcopalians behind I can tell you they are still a church just not Christian. There is in reality only one true Church / Body of Christ made up of ALL believers in whom God has placed His seed, irrevocably (see 1 John 3:9). The Episcopalian gaggle is not in that Church.
