Whatever the gift shop brings in it will be nothing compared to what the church has received for bringing in and supporting illegals. Nothing compared to what the church has paid out in lawsuits for priests abusing young altar boys.

Business is Business.
I visited the cathedral several times when my daughter and family lived near Santa Fe. There is a HUGE green space right beside the cathedral (I visited an outdoor art exhibit there). Plenty of room for outdoor Mass!
And like my parish they probably ask people who can’t or won’t attend Mass to donate online.
I had a long conversation with the secretary from my parish about my decision to leave the parish after this Sunday’s Mass. The coward priest couldn’t even call me himself. Still hasn’t.
I’m so sad to do it but I can’t support what is happening with the priest. I WILL NOT celebrate Joe Biden as a Catholic. I WILL NOT attend Mass and be lectured to by a priest in his homily about how I am the problem. I WILL NOT acquiesce to the corporate Church. I WILL NOT support the weak, ineffectual and cowardly priests in our diocese who have not fought for us in the least.
I hesitated as I prayed for weeks if this was the right thing to do. I want to receive the Eucharist and it breaks my heart to cut my self off but will receive spiritually until the Lord leads me where He wants me.
The Holy Spirit has given me peace however, as I realize that I am a persecuted Catholic, who cannot worship freely and who must make known to our priests that as they have abandoned us, we will forsake them.
