You don’t condone destructive behavior. Even if we’re going to accept that the behavior happens - you shouldn’t give them power positions in the church - nor shape your doctrine to conform.

Well, that’s just it, see.
God so much loved the whole world of humanity that he sent His only Son.
While we were still in our sin Christ died for us.
And, in Christ God was reconciling THE ENTIRE WORLD to Himself.
God’s love isn’t for purchase; it’s intrinsic to His Person.
We don’t get more or less of it out of Him by what we do.
He doesn’t love us because we repent; we are led to repent because we learn that he loved us despite our wickedness.
The Church will never cease to fail with alienated people until She can both communicate and LIVE that message.
