My Pastor uses the three "P's" to illustrate the three tenses of Salvation: God alone can save one from the 'penalty' for sin; God requires our participation when dealing with the 'power' of temptation and sin habits, so that we grow in grace and knowledge; God alone can transform us into glorified bodies, saving us from the 'presence' of sin when satan's man of sin is released by The Restrainer.
