The Bible says to tell people the good news.

Jesus of Nazareth died for our sins to be forgiven and rose from the dead.

The Obsession over End Times doesn’t really do any good since “These things must come pass…..”

Don’t be afraid of the Last Days. Rejoice, for the hour of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is near.

"Ghoulish glee"??? Hardly! What would be unchristian is to ignore Christ's teachings and Paul's admonitions like:

No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on your guard and stay alert! For you do not know when the appointed time will come. (Mark 13:32,33)

Now about the times and seasons, brothers, we do not need to write to you. For you are fully aware that the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “Peace and security,” destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers, are not in the darkness so that this day should overtake you like a thief. For you are all sons of the light and sons of the day; we do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us not sleep as the others do, but let us remain awake and sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night; and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and the helmet of our hope of salvation. For God has not appointed us to suffer wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him. Therefore encourage and build one another up, just as you are already doing. (I Thess. 5:1-10)

And let us consider how to spur one another on to love and good deeds. Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:24,25)

When we watch and are aware about the times and seasons and the imminent return of our Lord, we are spurred towards winning souls for Christ and making every day count for the glory of God. Will you be a wise or foolish servant?

You don't have to be fearful of the next life. Accept Christs finished work on the cross as sufficient for your justification, and you can have assurance.
