This shows how lost some in the Vatican truly are. With all the evil in the world how could anyone oppose contemplatives who devote themselves to prayer and sacrifice for the salvation of souls?
We need more religious communities completely dedicated to being in constant prayer for the world, the Church, and this country, not less. It’s probably one of the only things that, thus far, has prevented the wrath of God from completely consuming our wicked world up to now. It doesn’t help that most other people in our day, including most Christians, spend precious little time in prayer for anything beyond their own narrow concerns.
The Church is collapsing around their ears and yet the Vaticanistas focus like a laser on destroying the few sources of dynamism left. May Christ protect these good women.
