Apparently the crowds to see Pp. Francis are so small that it doesn't matter any more.
The Vatican has eliminated the possibility of employees presenting a negative coronavirus test to gain access to their place of work, insisting that only proof of vaccination or recovery from the coronavirus disease will be admitted.
A Vatican decree Thursday signed by Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin states that the obligation of presenting a vaccine passport (Super Green Pass) to go to work applies to all personnel of the Roman Curia and institutions linked to the Holy See as well as external collaborators, visitors to the Vatican City State, and outside workers....
Further, they'll screw any of those "religious exemption" deplorables.
...The decree mentions no exemptions for conscientious objection based on moral considerations....
...Cardinal Parolin declares that personnel without a valid green pass “will not be able to access the workplace and will be considered unjustifiably absent, with the consequent suspension of pay for the duration of the absence” and will be subject to the further consequences that such an absence would incur...
That 'suspend without pay' is stolen directly from the language of a certain "Catholic" hospital chain in the USA.
This is merely a continuation of the fascist/Peronist tendencies shown in the Vatican's treatment of the Extraordinary Form (Latin) Mass.

Have they not heard Psalm 91:5,6: “ You shall not fear the noonday plague. Though a thousand fall at your side, ten thousand at your right, near you it shall not come.” Many people won’t be able to present a recovery from Coronavirus certificate because the Lord won’t let them get it. And they’re out of their jobs?! An antigen test, a negative COVID test should ALWAYS be allowed. A Fox News break just reported that Pope Francis said Christmas Eve Mass without a mask in violation of new Vatican decrees.
A lot of Catholics know there are problems inside the Church. But the “Christianity” outside the Church: Willed, surrendered to lustful thoughts. Self abuse. Birth control. Sterilization. In-vitro fertilization. Rationalizations for divorce. Abortions even defended in loophole situations that cover every situation. This stuff violates the natural Law and isn’t even close to Salvation. People misinterpret Scripture into easy Salvation so they don’t have to work on their sins, deny themselves, practice heroic self-control. Tired of hearing about how Catholics are the enemies of God from many people who ignore a list of mortal sins as long as one’s arm. Jesus says if the Saint is barely saved, where will the sinner appear?Anyone who TRULY understood the Holy Eucharist could never leave the Church. Sorry for this post on Christmas but am tired of insufficient, skeletal Christianity Catholic-bashing.

Well it’s Christmas, but I challenge you to read the entire book of John and then Romans.
The Lord doesn’t need a RCC or any other man made building to take ownership of His people.

John Paul II saw a decline of the church in most of the world and allowed bishops and archbishops to cover up sodomy and abuse. Most overrated religious figure of the 20th century.
Of course I’ve read the entire New Testament and have heard it read at Mass for more than half a century. Jesus says in John 14:15 that if we love Him we will keep His commandments. Behavior. When the rich young man asks Jesus what he must be to be saved, Jesus speaks about behavior: Do not commit adultery (sexual sins), Do not kill, do not steal. Read the end of Mark 7, a list of behaviors that make one unfit to worship God. Know Jesus? Who is this Jesus who wants lip service in ethereal, ephemeral land while filth remains inside? If we don’t meet the true Jesus but meet an angel of darkness posing as Him we risk hearing on Judgment Day:” Out of my sight you evildoers, I never knew you.” Paul worries about being disqualified after preaching to others. Behavior. How can the need for reform of personal conduct be missed by anyone who truly meditates upon the Scriptures? As an old book title states, “Evangelical Is Not Enough”. Merry Christmas.
