Baptism creates a permanent “mark on the soul” according to contemporary Catholic belief. Once baptized as a Catholic, that mark can not be removed. It creates certain moral responsibilities.

All a catholic baptism does is make a babys head wet. You cant mark the soul with water. Its by faith someone comes to God. There is no such thing as holy water.
