“It was a flock of blackbirds. They have a dynamic all their own. This one hit the ground. Some died”.
Thank you for the true explanation. That’s how they flock together and some just didn’t pull up in time.
That’s how blackbirds flock together. No other explanation necessary.
Typically they follow a leader and unfortunately this leader led them into the building and ground.
Heeeere Kitty, Kitty, Kitty!
The madness of crowds. Reminds me of when the German people followed a madman from Austria to their collective doom.
One report said that a hawk was making a passes for lunch when they all dropped.
Not sure if true.
Navigational error. It’s what you get when you blindly follow a flock. The birds ALL crashed into the ground. That’s probably what killed the minority who stayed on the ground.
“It happens, and it’s nothing new. Most flew away, a minority hit the ground.”
Minority hardest hit.
Same here. One hundred birds dead from a flock of thousands? I would look for broken beaks and broken necks among the dead birds.
Covid is a judgment upon the world.
Took me too long to get that reference. I’m getting old.
Spoilsport ! ... lol
I knew it.
I. Just. Knew. It.
