I do not see where it is unclear and where it can be compromised, G-d Has spoken most definitively on the subject
Lev 18:22
You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.
Lev 20:13
If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.
Matt 5:18
For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
Bingo. Orthodox Jews, Orthodox Christians, Traditional Catholics and Evangelicals and other Christian denominations, (and oddly enough muslims), pretty much condemn homosexual acts.
But like all sinners, we want our primary sin to be excluded from the list. “You know, everybody does it, so why not?”
The human condition and all it’s fallen nature glory. Shame on them. It’s like Christ never came.
“Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.” (Leviticus 18:22). “If a man lies with a man as one lies with woman, both of them have done what is detestable.” (Leviticus 20:13).
