Child sacrifice went out with Moloch worship, until modern progressives came along. The progressive Christians I know don’t believe in abortion, and only vote Democrat because they consider it “the lesser of two evils”. That is, the evil of capitalism or whatever their worldly leaders tell them to fear.
In real worship of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, of the Bible, you only have YHVH worship, and everything else. Everything else is put in the Babylonian camp. It doesn't matter if you call god Zeus, Jupiter, Baal, Moloch, or Allah, it all falls into the same bucket if it doesn't align with Scriptures.
A careful study of Solomon will show he broke every law in Deuteronomy 17 on "Laws Concerning Israel's Kings". He married 700 wives and 300 concubines and none of them were Hebrews. They all brought their religions with them and Solomon allowed them to build altars in Israel, even on top of the Temple in Jerusalem. They sacrificed children on these altars. Whose children do you think these women sacrificed? God specifically commanded that His seed NOT be sacrificed to Baal. God is telling you that your children belong to Him and that you are a caretaker for them. Solomon had his own copy of the Torah that he was commanded to write and was supposed to read it every day.
As soon as Solomon died, Israel was broken into two countries and given two kings. The northern Kingdom was run by a son that made up his own religion and worshiped a calf and made non Levite priests that worshiped on the wrong Feast Days. Baal and Moloch are specifically mentioned in Scripture but are just names given to pagan gods that God wanted to destroy. No where in Scripture will you ever find a baby given to a woman as a curse. They are always described as a blessing. People would sacrifice their unwanted children thinking sacrificing them would give them better crops, or more money, or better health. Abortion today is just Baal worship and cannot be associated with anything from YHWH.
It's really no different that somehow finding sodomy is accepted by God and the church. You can listen to these faux Christians today trying to throw Franklin Graham out of England because he preaches "hate". They are making up their own gods just as if they carved him out of wood or a stone. It's the same god that can get you to heaven by other means than Jesus, aka, Allah.
