Does anyone else have a problem understanding the use of ‘they’ when it is for one person? Is they schizophrenic? Is they a Sybil? This abuse of language is intentional. It’s meant to slow you down, trip you up, and change the way you think (since language is integral to thought).
It’s exactly like Newspeak in 1984.
