onsidering that here in America the culture does not wear kilts or other garb like them, it’s a shame for a man to wear what is obviously women’s clothing in our culture.

A woman must not wear men’s clothing, and a man must not wear women’s clothing, for whoever does these things is detestable to the LORD your God. I was dubious about this at first (believing it might be a kilt) but a quick search reveals that Pitt has had some very interesting (almost deviant) comments on ‘skirt wearing’ dating back to 2004.

Exactly. If however his character in the movie was wearing what is normal in some other culture for men or warriors or whatever to wear, and he is just promoting the movie, then it I guess isn’t bad, but it appears that it is really a women’s dress, not some traditional garb from another culture. The biblical warning about clothing was specific to cultures, and basicsl,y said “do not wear what your culture considers feminine clothing” (or vice versa).
