Around the corner to his left is Abraham Lincoln. Theodore Roosevelt, Marcus Cicero, Plato, Methodist theologian Borden Browne, and Phillips Brooks, who wrote "O Little Town of Bethlehem" are also up there. All of them are most likely dejected, watching as the campus below them is engulfed in a tide of wokeness.

No matter what we think of John and Charles Wesley in the third millennium, there is no doubt that he changed the world. First in England, then in the USA and other English colonies.
I had forgotten of the strong connection between the Moravians and the Wesleys.
Salvation by Faith alone, indeed. Kindness and help to the poor.
And to think that USC still honors those giants in philosophy and religion on their campus ...
