(Institutionally indoctrinated?) US bishops have evidently never been taught about the federal governmnent’s constitutionally limited powers as the delegates to the Constitutional Convention had indented for those powers to be understood.
Same-sex “marriage” law is just another unconstitutionally big federal government attack on state sovereignty imo.
As with abortion, the feds should leave marriage laws alone & it should really be the proper realm of the churches. Remember, it was God alone who instituted marriage.
