It could work on the moon.
The problem is twofold:
1) In a formerly Protestant now-pagan country, Catholics who would take up this effort don't make up a sufficient percentage of the population to ensure success.
2) It's an uphill fight to convince the Blessed Mother that she should help us return to our previous state, what with its pursuit of mammon and an abortion rate of tens of millions of murders of our most innocent.
We're wallowing in the moral pig-sty this country has nonchalantly made for ourselves, and although we desperately want to blame al-qaeda, Putin, Nazis, you name it, this state of affairs is "Made in the U.S.A.".
That said, God's mercy is infinite, and there is a 54-Day Rosary Crusade that starts every year on 8/15 for this country. Spread the word.
