With some searching, you can find decent music that is being produced today.
But you won’t find that music at the Grammy’s. The music “celebrated” at the Grammy’s is all crap. It’s bad music delivering a bad message. Nothing to celebrate at all.

She isnt proudly embracing her sexuality if she needs booze to grease the skids. The booze helps in doing things she otherwise knows she shouldn’t. Then she blames the booze. Rinse repeat.
The women’s dresses at these events are see-through when will they go completely naked ?
If you ever watch these talent shows, see interviews with musicians/singers, all you hear is the most outrageous hyperbole ever, all having to do with world-changing finality of the performance and performer.
We are confronted with a great pagan revival. It has enormous energy, which is rooted in the promise of “liberation” through unfettered self-expression. There is nothing new in this, of course, but the modern pagans are so estranged from their own cultural heritage that they are unaware of what they are doing. Their underlying idea is that human beings are naturally good. If we are corrupt, it is because we have been corrupted by bad institutions and ancient, misguided superstitions. Strip all that away, and let the natural man run free. To thine own self be true. We can be gods to ourselves, and all will be well.
There is nothing in this that the serpent didn’t promise Eve in the Garden of Eden.
It’s all a lie, and it ain’t gonna work.
The pagan appeal is to lust, greed and ego. Unleashed, the result will be chaos. That is already happening, and accelerating. Our current cultural institutions try to mask this by shouting ever-louder and through relentless mockery of counsels of prudence (from both religious and secular sources). But reality is conservative. In the end, truth will out. But enormous destruction is being inflicted in the meantime.
If I were in the teaching business, I think I’d tack up the Serenity Prayer in the lecture hall or classroom. And I would suggest that students consider seriously “the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.” Or very nature is fallen (the Judeo-Christian formulation) or conflicted (the secularized version). Our inner selves are anarchic; while we have a capacity for good, we have an enormous capacity and indeed an inclination for evil as well. People who refuse to learn from the experience of others will simply relearn the ancient truths the hard way, if they survive their reckless blundering.
The modern pagans are now in open revolt against the reality principle. Reality will win.
There’s a ‘reaction video” on youtube of a young woman hearing the Righteous Brothers Un Chained Melody for the first time. The vivid and I mean VIVID play of emotions across her face as Bobby Hatfield goes into his act (Live on the Andy Williams show I believe) is amazing. based on those emotions and her comments she understands the huge difference between top forty then and now. type ‘awards’ show. A broadcast that few will watch and
many will vow to never watch again.
