No—it’s not.
You’re life on Venus would be brief and painful. Few places on Earth could you survive for very long unclothed, unfed. Then there are sharks, bears, poisonous snakes, car accidents, heart attacks, disease, cancer, war, govt, etc. And not to forget the pernicious humans that, for most people, define what it means to be evil.
If we agree that evil is the destroyer of life and innocence, then the vast expanse of the Universe and all that it contains is in fact evil.
God gave us the means to live and love — the gift opposing evil.
Sin corrupted that. As a result, natural dangers today (sharks, bears, poisonous snakes, car accidents, heart attacks, disease, cancer, etc) are considered evils.
However, those *affect* existence--they are *not* existence.
Existence, as a generalized concept, is not evil.
That’s nihlism right there.
nothing I mentioned dismisses the value of religion or morality

good point and distinction
evil has many definitions ranging from immoral characteristics to general calamity. So when the question was asked: “What Is Evil”, I expressed a point of view that (restated) ... the God given conditions that enable and preserve Love & Life are the exception with respect to all things.

Catholic Church murdered about the same
I am no fan of the Catholic church. Based on the Pope's published views I am more inclined to believe the current church is, or is becoming, the whore of Babylon discussed (mostly) by dispensationalists.
However, I think you should support your statement. You are saying the Catholic church brutally murdered somewhere between 160,000,000-200,000,000 men, women, and children. That is a disgusting claim if untrue.
I suspect you are lying or you are believing and posting a lie.
