The Serpent’s Gnostic Hiss

At the core of the serpent’s diabolical appeal to Eve was the seemingly irresistible invitation to step outside creation to evaluate the world neutrally and objectively. How? “You shall be as gods.” God alone sees the world from an objective angle. Because the cosmos depends before everything else on the Creator-creation distinction, to attempt to erase that distinction is cosmic insurrection. The devilish temptation for Eve to succumb to “the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the boastful pride of life” (1 Jn. 2:16) appealed to an insurrectionist impulse possible within creation.

And that same fundamental satanic lie repeats over and over today, from efforts to form a global government, to development of “artificial intelligence”, to homosexual “pride”, to now the belief that one can change their gender. These are examples of an endless array of ways that people today are trying to elevate themselves above God and to essentially become their own “gods.” And before much longer they will be deceived into following a world leader who they will worship as a god, having rejected the only true God. That will not end well for them.

They hate the God of creation and view themselves as His victims. So no, things will not end well for them.

‘God alone sees the world from an objective angle.’

How does this author, or anyone else for that matter know such a thing as a certainty...? does the author presume to speak for the god he worships...?

I used to say the it was a war against common sense.

In reality, it is a war against nature. In just about every issue they elevate the man made corrupt perverted “science” over the God of nature.

yes, well, people have been employing ‘endless arrays’ of hubris in order to satiate their desires to tell people what to do, to demonstrate their power, ever since the cavemen put down the spears and started talking about how to form a civilization...when the railroads started dominating travel, there were those who saw ‘the devil’ in it and issued warnings to not play God; ditto the automobile, ditto the internet...

AI is the new railroad...

When Jesus said His kingdom is not of this world, He meant it is not of the space time dimension but of another dimension, outside of the world (space/time dimension) and completely unreachable by men and their science. His kingdom is of this other dimension from which He looks down upon the world/space/time dimension as though a snow globe enclosed within the other dimension.

The author cites the God of all creation Who spoke and revealed Himself to certain men. If He had not done so no one would ever know of a dimension outside of the space/time dimension.

Your question, being properly of this space/time dimension, is fueled by outrage because no man could ever know "such a thing as a certainty" from within the snow globe if I AM WHO I AM had never entered into the globe to reveal Himself to the citizens of the snow globe.

According to scripture warning us these things would happen we need not be shocked as this evidences to believers Jesus coming for us is not long off. Those who have refused Christ will of Course follow this wave of deception and actively invite and eagerly deceive others to go with them.
