what kind of surgeon would amputate a perfectly good and functioning limb....? I thought the Hippocratic oath had as one of its major tenents “First do you no harm” or words to that effect.... this is insanity on steroids......
The same kind, I suppose, that would murder a healthy unborn child in it's mother's womb. Or preform sterilization procedures. Or perform plastic surgery that purposely makes people look bizarre. Or be a party to certain types of euthanasia. The list could go on and on.
I had a colleague who is a successful business owner but she’s crazy. When she looks in the mirror she sees a fat person looking back at her yet she is within weight standards and has juggled her diet to the point where she has eating disorders because of it. She used to be excessively athletic yet complained about her weight even though her BMI was excellent. She started doing Brittany Spears stuff like shaving her head, psychologist appointments etc... very strange, and uncomfortable to be around. It is almost as if her mind is a powerful drug...
These weirdos are trying to tell us we are harming them by our insistence that they are delusional. Get it? We are harming THEM when we refuse to give in to their delusions. So a doctor who doesn’t perform the surgery requested, even though it’s unnecessary is thought by the patient to be harming him or her.
What up is down, what’s black is white. We live in crazy, crazy times. It’s hard to stay sane when so many are off their rockers. Every day we hear of newer and weirder stuff.
They would argue the psychological pain of the offending limb is worse than the actual disability caused by removing a normal, functional limb. This idea of psychological stress trumping body integrity under the guise of human rights has gained ground. Unfortunately there’s no end it what could happen or be justified.
What kind of doctor would cut off the breasts of a 15-year-old girl? $$$.
