Yes, I know it’s the Bee and satire, but honestly, an awful lot of people do that exact thing.
They *interpret* Scripture to make it mean or say something different than what a plain reading of the text in context says.
Most Scripture does not need interpretation. Just read it and do what it says. God does not make it complicated. Men, OTOH, do.
