That is interesting.   Faith Lutheran Church is only a mile and a half from me.   I have driven past it a thousand times.

Yes, I looked her up months ago, but didn't want to come close to doxing her.   Therefore, I just call her Barb and she has never corrected me.   I did send her a FReepmail to admonish her that the way she had been acting was not like a Methodist Minister should act.   That is when she began putting a prayer at the beginning of her propaganda.

From what I was able to find, she has been very political within the church long before Russia took action against their little brothers and cousins, or twentieth great grandfathers, whatever way you want to look at it.   As we say, a real piece of work.

Thanks for the “second,” although I second you. Interesting that her UMC involvement did not motivate her to comment on UMC things, suggesting that she is, if Republican, the McCain and Graham “bomb Iran” sort who are de facto allies to the likes of Austin (Secretary Raytheon) and neocon ideologues like Sullivan and Blinken and Obama's Nuland. None of that is what I would call conservative.

Catholic here but about 15 years ago we took my MIL to the Easter service at the Methodist Church where she had been going for years. The very manly looking woman pastor and the “worship” team did not even mention Jesus.
