Hypnosis: Medical, Scientific, or Occultic?

Many medical doctors use the energy centers of yoga to alleviate physical diseases. Kroger and William Fezler say:

The reader should not be confused by the supposed differences between hypnosis, Zen, Yoga and other Eastern healing methodologies. Although the ritual for each differs, they are fundamentally the same.[6]

Most hypnotists have misused their ability personal advancement, whether it be to take advantage of a woman or to steal money.

I don’t have the mindset to be hypnotized, but if I could be hypnotized, I would probably have another person in the room to prevent any shenigans.

hypnosis to stop smoking was a godsend for me. it took 2x - mainly due to lack of strong will the first time - but i am successfully cigarette-free over 20 yrs.

40 years from now, if the USA still exists as we now know it, many historians will very likely be wondering if America had been subjected to several “waves” of mass hypnosis.

How else could one explain the abrupt cultural changes in about 35% of the population? Transgenderism became it’s own kind of religion, one guided by the fanatical.
How else could one explain the temporary but financially poisonous era of Woke industries, with a kamikaze like devotion to a mindset that created unpleasant, unfair and unproductive work conditions?

Your knowledge of hypnosis is right out of the stoneage. Hypnosis is nothing more than an induced state of deep relaxation. This cannot be done without the patients cooperation. A hypnotized person will not do something they do not want to do (particularly if it goes against their moral or religious beliefs). Even in stage hypnosis the hypnotist counts on the full cooperation of the subjects. There has never been a sucessful court case against a hypnotist for the practice of clinical hypnotherapy.

First, it is not out of the stone age. It is a fact that most hypnotists have misused their abilities.

Second, you may not be able to get somebody to do something that is wrong, if you just directly tell them to do it. However, if you frame it differently, they may not see it as wrong. Such as telling them that they are in danger and the person in front of them is trying to kill them. Are they really going to do nothing to save their lives?

Third, the more a person gets hypnotized, the easier it is to hypnotize them. There are documented cases of people, by a single word, who can be hypnotized and they can’t stop themselves.

This article is hogwash. Emotional garbage using many fallacies of logical argumentation.

You may as well include prayer in his list the way he wrote it. To anyone who believes his words, you must be in a hypnotic trance!

While I agree with his final conclusion, “Christians should avoid hypnosis”, it is for an entirely different reason.

First allow me to say that I have a degree in psychology (among others) and spent many years using and training hypnosis techniques. I stopped using it about 30 years ago for several resaons.

The most extensive research I have done with hypnosis is its use in religious settings by ministers. I spent over twenty years studying mind control and manipulation in religious settings. As part of this I learned extensive stage hypnosis techniques. I have never used them and never will. I learned them so I could spot them in use.

As part of this I traveled extensively, visiting many religious services of many religions, including many christian denominations. This included most protestant denominations and Catholic services, New Age, Messianic Jewish, Fundamental Evangelists, and Cults.

This began when a friend invited me to a Christian Businessman’s Meeting to hear an evangelist. There were approximately 80 people in attendance. They were of diverse ages, well educated, and what would appear successful in life.

I had been traveling out of town and arrived late that evening, after the meal but just as the service was to begin. The only seat left was in the front off to the side of the podium (it was in a restaurant meeting room).

Thus I was looking at the side of the Christian Evangelist and if I turned to my left, I was looking at the faces of all attendees who were seated in chairs theater style.

I had no problem with what the Christian Evangelist said. I did notice that he held the Bible in his hand and never opened it. It was more a stage prop than a reference tool.

He began shouting, then whispering, with a lot of emotion in his voice. Then began the testimonials where people would come up and tell a sad story and how their life changed when they found Jesus.

Then he walked back the isle and pointed to a woman and shouted, “The Holy Spirit is in you now. You are drunk with the spirit.” She fell off the chair and couldn’t stand up. Soon he had lines of people and he would wave his hand at them and they would fall over.

I normally see the white light of the Holy Spirit when it moves into a person, ever since I died, went to Heaven, and returned. I often see it above people’s heads when they pray, above ministers when they are preaching. I see it in hands on healing. It is very real and accurately described in the Bible.

But this day there was no light. Not above or around the evangelist, not around the woman who couldn’t stand up, or the people in lines that fell over. I squinted and strained my eyes trying to see it, but none was there.

Suddenly I became physically sick as I realized that the evangelist was using stage hypnosis in a church setting.

These people would swear on a Bible that they are Born Again. It has nothing to do with the real surrender to Jesus. It’s fake using hypnosis.

In hypnosis, it is an external surrender of will to another person. In the real process, it is an internal surrender upward to God.

I walked from the service feeling very sick at what I had observed, standing in the rain in the parking lot I turned toward God and yelled “Why was I led here to see this atrocity?”

The answer came loud and clear, “THIS IS HOW THE ANTI MESSIAH WILL LEAD MY PEOPLE ASTRAY.”

I stopped doing hypnosis as the purpose is to get a person to surrender their individual will to you. It is very powerful and also dangerous as it allowed me to reprogram people’s souls at the deepest levels.

Don’t believe the crap, “You will never do anything under hypnosis that you would not do otherwise. “ It’s not true.

Or when people, especially men say, “I cannot be hypnotozed.” They can be.

My specialty was with resistant subjects. It’s easy if you know the techniques.

It’s happening in society today and is the reason for the mass psychosis that is unfolding.

If someone else is holding your individual will, then you do not have the authority to surrender it to God. You cannot be Born Again when hypnotic techniques are used.

It wouldn’t matter if there were a few people or thousands filling a football stadium, the stage hypnosis techniques work to lead people astray. I share them here to help people learn discernment and not be led astray. If you use them to harm others, you are accountable to God.

1. Shout and then whisper. Change your vocal tones so people listen more carefully.

2. Get the groups emotions off balance by going from sad to happy stories. This process can be amplified by music and singing.

3. Induce guilt, fear, or anger into the people. Guilt is very easy in a religious setting.

4. Offer them a way to get rid of the guilt.

They will be in a trance. Now you select the most gullible or vulnerable for demonstrations as this will move the skeptics to believing and remove resistance when they see it working on others.

Do not confuse meditation or meditative prayer when one is alone as harmful. It is very good. Be careful in any guided or group meditation. This can include group prayer. It is easy to use group prayer as a hypnotic induction.

I pray that this helps people to understand and protect themselves.

By the way, the most powerful mudra in yoga is the hands pressed together like a person does while praying. The priests and ministers use many of the same mudras or hand positions as yoga during their services.

By the way, I’ve observed these techniques not jut in person, but on television services and in large university services.

I’ve had people like you that say they can’t be hypnotized, and they go so deep that you can have surgery with no anesthesia. A friend of mine had a root canal this way.

There have been many court cases against therapists who used hypnosis. They were sued and there were many awards for millions of dollars.

Read about programmed false memory and the False Memory Foundation. I have helped some of their patients sort it out. Several were MD’s who created the false memories.

If you want to read an excellent book on this, look up Elizabeth Loftus. She is the expert.

From the article:

1: ... the rituals and results have been reproduced, revised, and repeated.

2: Psychiatry professor Thomas Szasz describes hypnosis as the therapy of “a fake science.”[2] We cannot call hypnosis a science, but we can say that it has been an integral part of the occult for thousands of years.

3. “There are many systems to Yoga, but the central aim—union with God—is common to all of them and is the method by which it achieves cure.”

A ritual is simply an act of invitation or appeasement... or of praise. It is an appeal to a higher power to INTERVENE, whether that power be of God or some other spiritual being.

It is clear in scripture that evil spirits are allowed to tempt mankind. It is also made clear by God that we are NOT to engage in this type of activity...

Medically induced hypnosis is sorcery (”Pharmakia” see Rev 18:23). Ritualistic induced hypnosis is witchcraft... both alter the state of mind which PERMITS acts of possession by spiritual beings to accomplish the desired result.

I would challenge any person who believes that hypnosis is a medical rather than spiritual procedure to describe how the hypnotist can physically see/monitor/map/alter the complexity of the human brain, let alone an individual’s life experience stored in that brain.

Hypnosis is nothing less than surrendering control of the body/mind to a spiritual being. The hypnotist, whether they realize it or not, is simply guiding their subject through the WILLFUL surrender of their sovereignty of mind, which God PROHIBITS evil spirits from doing, UNLESS permission is given. We call it possession... and it ALWAYS comes with strings. Once this sovereignty is surrendered, evil spirits will NOT relinquish it. ONLY the Holy Spirit can remove them.

For demonstration purposes in therapy settings, I made the number 6 dissappear from the subject’s comprehension as a post hypnotic suggestion, until I snapped my fingers, and it would come back.

I would have them count to 10 and they would skip 6. If I asked them how much was 3+3 they would give me a blank stare and couldn’t answer.

I did this in cases where I needed to convince the spouse that there was a possibility of change when working with very violent men who beat their wives to the point of hospitalization and they went to prison.

The wives requested I work with their husbands. I would go deep into their psyche and find and reprogram the event that programmed the violence as the behavior. Yes, it worked.

I’m not saying that I can’t be drugged. I’ve had people try to hypnotize me and it doesn’t work. About 25% of the population aren’t so easily hypnotized. That doesn’t mean that I cannot be hypnotized, in an absolute fashion by somebody sufficiently skilled. I can only really say that the times it has been attempted on me didn’t work.

My point is that if I can remove a number that they learned when they wrmere 3 years old and it held long after the session had concluded, what can’t be changed.

Like a surgical knife, it can be very dangerous.

My sister has false memory syndrome. She remembers things that she is convinced has happened and none of her siblings remember it.

It has nothing to do with drugs. It has to do with turning your ego against itself rather than protecting itself. It is the ego that tries to block hypnosis as it is afraid of losing control.

That’s actually a good thing as the ego has discernment.

Therapists were creating false memories in clients of being sexually molested by their fathers.

I worked with a few of these patients to bring them back to reality.

I also did cult deprogramming.

Your comments are bit shallow as the line between religious, medical, and psychological is very blurred and overlaps.

In my lifetime of experience, more people are hypnotized in religious settings without knowing it, than all hypnosis used in medical treatments.

Years ago, I started using hypnosis for medical resasons. In one of my first cases for pain management, I merely asked a woman who was going on disability due to shoulder and arm pain, “If that pain in your shoulder could speak, what would it say?”

A male voice answered me and yelled “Get out of here.”

Ends up it was an attached spirit of a man killed in an auto accident that had followed his body to the hospital and attached to her, the ER nurse.

I removed him and her pain went away immediately, never to return.
