Thank you for posting this. It touches on some things I’ve pondered over the years, about the nature of the antichrist. I’ve also long thought that Sheen was a very wise man well worth heeding (and I say that as a non-Catholic).
Who is Bishop Sheen? Does he have a website?
I used to listen Bishop Sheen when I was young (tv). He was an impressive fellow. I am reminded of a quote by another philosopher H. L. Mencken “The urge to save humanity is almost always only a false-face for the urge to rule it. Power is what all messiahs really seek: not the chance to serve.”

Bishop Sheen used to have a radio program and then a once a week TV show. He has written several books. They are worth a read. I am now browsing through his book “The Life of Christ.”

Solovyov was remarkable (so was Sheen) and deserves to be better known.
Solovyov was one of the main inspirations of the Russian Orthodox Church in Communion with Rome. He’s one of the reasons I use the name Vladimir here at FR.
Also while he had been very traditional and conservative, in the 1960's he suddenly became a leftist hippie (see his interview with William F. Buckley Jr.).
It's amazing that so many people think of him as the ultimate Traditional Catholic.
My deceased father in law was once an altar boy for Bishop Sheen.
