As I said, just open a dictionary and look up the word “cult”. To deny that there is a “cult of Mary” in the Catholic church is to deny that anyone in the Catholic church venerates Mary, but I doubt they will try to deny that.

Mary was a sinner with whom even Jesus called out as doing and expecting something wrong, yet, Jesus obeyed and gave her her request.
Jesus clearly calls out her abuse of an aspect of His ability.

The word for *Lord* (Kurios) is NOT the same word for *God* (theos).
Conflating them is disingenuous and exceedingly poor translation practice.
That is the most pathetic rationalization for the alleged sinlessness of Mary that anyone could fabricate.
