Its obvious that abortion is wrong, it’s less obvious we Christian’s need to support single women who are pregnant and the children they bear. As a pastor, it’s my job to tell about the requirements involved in loving our neighbors as ourselves.
God punished Israel for sacrificing it’s children to their idol moloch. God has made it clear you hurt children and there will be consequences.
My daughter was one of those girls who raised in church all her life, had the talk and still at 17 got pregnant. I was furious and angry with her. I let her know what she did was wrong and she needed to repent. I also let her know I loved her and would be there for her and the baby. The church took the same view with her and the baby. The church is about as hard core conservative as they come, but they have been a blessing for her and my grandson.
She is now a nurse, married for two years and expecting a baby and her first son is six and in first grade at the local Christian school. She made a commitment to stay in church and to raise him in church and God has blessed her.
