All Christians, Not Just Catholics, Should Be Worried About Pope Francis’ Synod

“There’s an unfortunate tendency among Catholics and Protestants alike to relish the misfortunes of the other. When some evangelical megachurch pastor ham-fistedly embraces the LGBT agenda, Catholics will quip that it was inevitable thanks to the Reformation. When Pope Francis appears to undermine orthodox Christian teaching in a garbled answer to some interviewer’s question, Protestants will snark about the “commie pope.

Just last week, for example, a short (and admittedly disturbing) video clip of Pope Francis surrounded by scantily-clad circus performers made the rounds on social media, triggering predictable Protestant jeers like, “Never too late to join the Reformation!”

But something is afoot in Rome right now that should worry Protestants as much as Catholics. The Vatican’s “Synod on Synodality,” which begins today, at first glance appears to be an exercise in self-referential academese, like having a conference about conferences….”

The Vatican’s ‘Synod on Synodality’ is a thinly veiled effort to change Catholic practice, if not Catholic doctrine. PS: I’m a Catholic and I never trusted this so-called pope as far as I could throw him. He’s always acted like he hates the Catholic Church and he has a special hatred for Orthodox Catholics who try their best to live the faith. He belittles other Catholics and acts no more like a Catholic than Attila the Hun did.

I am not a Catholic. But I have always feared what this false Pope and obvious NWO agent would do to it. Destruction of the Catholic Church would be devastating. Do Protestants believe that they will survive if the WEF and Soros cult takes the Catholics down? No chance. All will be forced to accept Satan and LGBTQ.

We can only hope and pray that Jesus Christ returns soon.

I’m a protestant(Methodist, for now). The Pope means as much to me as Joe Biden.

I am a lifelong Catholic, and ALWAYS appreciated Protestants who embrace the Natural Law, sometimes to their own worldly detriment. I prefer closer to The Truth (which is Christ) to going the other way. So, when then Protestant Randall Terry suggested to his Protestant supporters that they may have gotten the whole contraception thing wrong, I cheered, not because “we’re right, they are wrong”, but because it is better for ALL to follow God’s Natural Law.

Francis is not a Christian, I thought we all knew this already.

The author says Francis is “opening the door to radical change in Catholic practice without technically changing Catholic doctrine”.

To me that is nothing new about Catholicism, which has always established “Catholic tradtion” whether or not it was bibilically correct.

Maybe Protestants, but not Christians.

According to the prophecy of Saint Malachy, the last genuine pope was the late
Benedict XVI. I don't know who the current guy in Rome is, but he is not the pope.

All Americans should be concerned:
Was there a deeper network behind the 'Catholic Spring'?
(Catholic News Agency, Dec 28, 2016)
A reputed "Catholic Spring" surfaced in the news this fall, after hacked emails from John Podesta, Hillary Clinton's campaign manager, indicated plans for an effort to sow revolution within the Church.

Not my Pope
Not my Church
Not my problem
Jesus DID Say, “By their fruits they will be known.”
That is good enough for me.

‘whether or not it was bibilically correct.’

the term ‘trinity’ or ‘triune God’ is not mentioned in the Bible...acceptance of it as truth is derived from inference, or ‘tradition’...

You think Catholics are the only Christians who believe in the Trinity, or that all I was referring to was the Trinity???
