False; the first Christians were Jews who loved their brethren even to the point of death. It is impossible to hate Israel and love the God of Israel. The two greatest commandments are to love God and neighbor, and the love thy neighbor commandment is specifically from Leviticus and directly about loving one’s fellow Israeli. One can extend it to others, but never remove it from Jews. It applies to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile.

Yes, at a personal level; love your personal enemies by praying for their good. There is still an obligation to be a good soldier to preserve your neighbors' lives.
