Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

Luke 2:8-14 And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear.

And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”

Father in heaven, We THANK YOU for the wonderful, gracious gift You have given us in Your Son in an effort to save people. We are in awe of the lengths You have gone to to reconcile mankind to Yourself.

And yet, so many people are completely oblivious to it and living lives torn apart by sin and suffering in it, living under the deception of the enemy.

Please, Father, this Christmas season, while it is not uncommon to have Christ publicly talked about, we ask that Your Holy Spirit would do His work in convicting people of sin, righteousness, and judgment. As Christmas carols are being played out in public, let the words and the message of those songs sink deep into people's hearts and give them hope. Point them to Jesus who WANTS to save them. Open their hearts and minds to you and give us opportunity to share Christ with a hurting and dying world.

We ask for renewal and repentance to sweep this country as the world situation continues to deteriorate.

Thank you that You are coming back some day to set all things right for eternity. We long for that day and are thrilled to know that it's coming.

For National Repentance, Deliverance And Truth

Dear Lord and Heavenly King, thank You that there are no boundaries in Your kingdom and that You ultimately rule over heaven and earth, despite the fact that wickedness and evil seeks to dominate the nations of the world as well the lives of individuals.

I pray that You would set up godly men and women in positions of leadership and power in our own nation and in all the nations who exercise authority in our world today.

Thank You for those leaders that are prepared to stand up for truth and righteousness. Give them boldness to challenge those who want to to remove the principles of freedom and tolerance and establish the flawed principles that come from human wisdom.

Lord, I pray that You would guide the leaders of many nations to repent of their sins and turn to the path of peace that only comes from You. Help them to understand that the only peace that will ever be established on earth will be under the rule of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, after Your wrath has been poured out on a Christ rejecting sinful world. Have mercy Lord. Have mercy on all the leaders of nations who do not know You. I pray that many will be saved by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, in Whose name I pray.
