It’s B.S.

You don’t bless sin or sinful relationships.

People are going to look at a blessing as an endorsement. The Pope is phrasing it as asking humbly for the grace to grow more in faith, apparently. I don’t know how many people are going to perceive it that way.
The Pope is either naive here, or trying to slide something by us, or a bit of both. In general, he gives mixed messages deliberately. Just like Satan- half-truths. I guess he has no fear for his own eternal soul.

by men I was thinking mankind but your points are valid.

My thoughts are you can hide in an institution, look good.

A personal relationship with God is too revealing and intense for many. No place to hide.

But that is the Good News, there is no place to hide.

It is not one or the other, but both are needed, just not an institution

The Book of Remembrance

Mal 3:16 Then those who feared the LORD spoke with each other, and the LORD listened to what they said. In His presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared Him and always thought about the honor of His name.

To me the above is the church. I hope you have a few of God’s warriors in your life, if not, find them.

It’s much much easier to change denominations that to sell all of your belongings and move to another country where you may not speak the dominant language or know the customs. Your syllogism is faulty in the extreme.

You must not think much of your particular "denomination" if you're so ready to abandon it for material comfort.

Those who believe in the One, True, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church would rather go through martyrdom than apostatize.

Mind, it is not a blessing of the union (e.g., marriage) or any other flavor of such a relationship. It is only a blessing on the individuals so that they can come closer to Gawd. Homo marriage is still condemned.

Of course, the MSM has their heads up their butts and corrupt the message.

I don’t know about “warriors” in the context of other than staunch Christians (and Conservatives).... but yeah, I have a few strong people in my circle. And I posit that if God wants me to find others, He will send them to me or make me acquainted with them.

Well that's on you. I don't believe in your One, True, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit not a man made denomination. If Jesus returned as a man today, He would not be Catholic. He was a Jew. All of the Disciples were Jews. They worshiped on the Sabbath and would never give obeisance to a homo promoting hypocrite that lives in a palace. He's the kind of man they abhorred and your denomination with its rituals and statuary they would admonish.
Martyrdom is rightly reserved for fealty to the One True Holy God and nothing else.

And Catholics criticize Protestant churches for accepting homosexuality.

They are in no position to point ANY fingers.

What part of this do you not understand:

Within the horizon outlined here is the possibility of blessings of couples in irregular situations and of same-sex couples, ...

Has he decided to bless Necrophilia? I hope he doesn’t. Having someone hump the butt after death would be humiliating.

Holy Father God, bless these sinners with consequences for their offenses to You, so that they may see the error of their ways and repent and be saved from eternal death. In the Name our Savior Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

No Trent did that when it essentially anathematized the Apostle Paul and St. Augustine.

Bob, Catholics say that they can define sin in changing God’s law (...they have the power). Evangelicals bow down to them ever Sunday. They are the SAME, joining hands together in practicing abominations. The protest is over. Haven’t you heard? There is absolutely no difference in saying one can CHANGE God’s law, OR, that it has no effect on OSAS/OJAJ and they can sin with impunity. Catholics and Sunday-keep Evangelicals worship are the SAME. In the end, there are only 2 classes of people on earth...those who keep God’s law, including His 7th-day-Sabbath, and those who don’t.

“The Bible says, Remember that thou keep holy the Sabbath day. The Catholic church says, No! By my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day, and command you to keep the first day of the week. And lo, the entire civilized world bows down in reverent obedience to the command of the holy Catholic church!” Father Enright, C.S.S.R. of the Redemptoral College, Kansas City, Mo., History of the Sabbath, p. 802

“Not the Creator of Universe, in Genesis 2:1-3, –but the Catholic Church can claim the honor of having granted man a pause to his work every seven days.”-S. C. Mosna, Storia della Domenica, 1969, pp. 366-367.

“The Pope is of great authority and power that he can modify, explain, or interpret even divine laws… The Pope can modify divine law, since his power is not of man, but of God, and he acts as vicegerent of God upon earth.” -Lucius Ferraris, Prompta Ribliotheca, “Papa,” art. 2, translated.

“The Pope has the power to change times, to abrogate laws, and to dispense with all things, even the precepts of Christ.” “The Pope has the authority and often exercised it, to dispense withthe command of Christ.”Decretal, de Tranlatic Episcop. Cap. (The Pope can modify divine law.)Ferraris’ Ecclesiastical Dictionary.

It has been said “bow down before the one you serve, you’re going to get what you deserve”

Catholics worship their denomination like we worship God.
