Admits that the Reformation comes out of Catholicism.
Denies that Catholicism is Christianity.
Rightly calls out the apostate in the chair of Peter.
This essay is...interesting, to say the least.
Reformation did not come out of Catholicism. Yes, some priests and congregants "reformed," but the true Church of Christ was in existence all along. The RCC tried to destroy it to no avail.
Denies that Catholicism is Christianity
That statement is true.
Rightly calls out the apostate in the chair of Peter
Everyone that sat in that chair was apostate, so, yeah.
“This essay is...interesting, to say the least.”
I too, was suitably impressed enough to respond .. .
“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith.
2 Cor 13:2”
This simple verse is GOOD advice ! Believe in God ? Check. Believe in His Son, Jesus Christ ? Check. Believe that you are SAVED by Grace through FAITH, NOT works of any kind. That Jesus died for YOUR sins and rose for YOUR JUSTIFICATION ? Check. Sounds like I AM in the FAITH.
I very much doubt that the current Pope would answer “Yes” to any of those questions .. .
