Forget about "Christmas" and "Easter" those are made up calendar days NOT in the Hebrew calendar.....imho

The Church piggybacked onto existing celebrations to make pagans feel more comfortable. A very good idea and the days are symbolic events anyway. Christmas took the place of Saturnalia, a Winter Festival tied to the movement of Saturn.

Easter is tied to spring pagan fertility celebrations, hence the use of “eggs”. They painted the eggs red to symbolize the blood of the womb the eggs came from. It happens around the vernal equinox, the start of spring.

Apparently, this plan worked very well. The spread of Christianity was swift and massive and done without the help of mass media we have today.
