And a lot of it is the same message from the other apparitions, chiefly: A warning, Amiracle, and a chastisement.
I have read Bishop Beitia's statements from 1965 and he said that he found no grounds for ecclesiastical condemnation either in the doctrine or in the spiritual recommendations that were divulged.
Well, here you go. The Church just canonized St. Faustina Kowalska, the Divine Mercy visionary. Here's a quote from her Diary, the words of Jesus to St. Faustina:
"Write this: before I come as the just Judge, I am coming first as the King of Mercy. Before the day of justice arrives, there will be given to people a sign in the heavens of this sort.
"All light in the heavens will be extinguished, and there will be great darkness over the whole earth. Then the sign of the cross will be seen in the sky, and from the openings where the hands and feet of the Savior were nailed will come forth great lights which will light up the earth for a period of time. This will take place shortly before the last day."
So, there you have it, straight from Jesus to St. Faustina.
Here is some biblical reference about the heavens being extinguished.
Isaias 13: 9 "For the stars of heaven, and their brightness shall not display their light: the sun sall be darkened in his rising, and the moon shall not shine with her light."
Joel 3: 14 "The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars have withdrawn their shining. And the Lord shall roar out of Sion...
Matthew 24:29 "the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light...and the stars will fall from heaven...
Mark 13:24 "the sun will be darkened..the moon will not give light...
Luke 21:25 "And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and upon earth distress of nations...
A couple of saints who talked about the 3 days darkness.
Blessed Anna Maria Taigi: "There shall come over all the earth an intense darkness lasting three days and three nights...only blessed candles can be lighted and will afford illumination...the air shall be infected with demons, who will appear under alls sorts of hideous forms...During these three days the people should remain in their homes, pray the Rosary and beg God for mercy."
"St. Caspar del Bufalo 1837 foretold "the destruction of impenitent persecutors of the Church during the three days darkness. To him who outlives the darkness and fear of the three days, it will seem as if he were alone on earth because the world will be covered everywhere with carcasses." (pretty cheery)
Several other catholics told of the 3 days darkness but they are not canonized.
These prophecies are from the earliest centuries of the Church, and made by "heavy hitters." They come together like a puzzle, because they all touch on the same thing-that we are in trouble, and it appears to be coming soon.
