Philadelphia instead of Laodicea as my Diocese

lol.. I like that

I used to drive 90 miles one way to St Robert Bellarmine in Miami for the Indult. But, my wife converted - finally - and she prefers the normative mass and so, like a fearful husband, I try to make her happy.

She has agreed to put a part of our tithe to the FSSP and in a way my money tends to be more an act of pure charity as I am unable to derive any direct (well, excluding the prayers they offer for our family)benefit.

But, my heart is with the 1962 Roman Missal

The United States Catholic Conference of Bishops should invite this man to speak at their next conference. I read the words of the "expert",the power group presented, representing academia at one of their recent Conferences. I wish I could remember his name. However,he was pathetic, the swishops were looking to continue to block the directives of the Vatican to implement Ex Corde Ecclesia and so they managed to have this very inept, actually either very stupid or very evil, profesor speak to them about the need for teachers and professors to have "academic freedom". And how,to that end, they could not require a Mandatum, professing their Catholicism. He intimated it might hurt the ability of Catholics schools to be accredited and more blah, blah.

After listening to him,I was actually embarrassed to be Catholic. I had already concluded that many bishops had lost their faith, that they had lost sight of their primary objective to save souls, that they countenanced immoral behavior on the part of the priests and laity, that many were marxists, that many were ignorant about the extent of liturgical abuse, catechetical error and false gospels preached in their dioceses, that some had been seduced by the devil, that some were just human, had sinned and were being blackmailed and that some were just very weak and didn't like confrontation.I thought I had considered every possible reason that repeatedly, those who count the votes claimed, more than one half of the bishops had by various means disobeyed requests that were Catholic in favor of their own agenda. But I actually had never considered what became clear to me at that time, which was that many of them were just merely stupid. Now that is really frightening!!

I do believe that Christ will be with the Church to the end and I do know that many of our Bishops are holy and intelligent men,we need to pray that they prevail,in America and save our Church for our children.
