[history]
The spokesman for U.S. bishops hashing out a sex-abuse policy for the church protected homosexual priests who joined a pornographic Internet chat room, where participants railed against Pope John Paul II's policies against homosexual clergy and one eagerly anticipated his death.

Thanks. Late in the game on this one apparently.

Someone just called in to MSNBC live, identifying himself as a seminarian at a particular seminary. As he started to say that "most of the seminarians here are gay," the host cut him off in mid sentence.

Archibald was interviewed on the BQ View with Blanquita Cullum today. She did an excellent job. He is an Episcopalian and stated he has no axe to grind against the Catholic Church. He gave a big plug to the folks at Roman Catholic Faithful and a few others. Although at times it doesn't seem like it, we have a number of folks outside of the faith praying for the laity and the Church.

Assuredly, there are aspects of the Catholic diocesan bureaucracies which have made this worse. What you have really are two cultures at work - Catholic clerical culture and modern American homosexual subculture or counter-culture. Both have aspects of "secrecy." That may be why homosexual ephebophiles seek religious life. It gives them some more shelter to hide and cover their real lifestyle and recreational agenda.

I believe Michael Rose is coming on CNN's Crossfire now...
To: Romulus ; askel5
Good grief, Rose is on with Kissling (CNN).

Of course, they cut him off. Michael Rose talking to James Carville. This is the Twilight Zone.

She looks possessed. What a depraved and deranged woman. Did you catch Novak's suggestion that she check into the Episcopalian Church?
To: Siobhan
I can't imagine how CNN managed to persuade poor Michael Rose to sit down right next to Witch Kissling. The sacrifices some have to make to get the word out!

I missed it! What went on?

Rose only got limited time to deliver his points. He did say that what has happened in the past is eager young Catholic men entering seminaries expecting to encounter charismatic gung-ho Bing Crosby/Spencer Tracy types, but finding the "Village People" instead. That got a few laughs.
The ever-homely and whiny Ms. Kissling continued to drink the pro-homo grape Kool-Aid, denying to the end that the scandals had anything to do with homosexuality. Novak countered that clearly male-on-male sex is homosexual. Kissling looked about as uncomfortable sitting right next to Michael Rose.
To: maryz
Carville just did his typical, liberal, chimpanzee act.

Crossfire comes on again on CNN at 11:00pm EST.

Thanks!
Do you have any feeling about who won? I know it's difficult to be objective when one of the combatants is as repellent as Kissling, but maybe you can pretend she's an actual human being. (I'll be turning in soon -- I keep very early hours, but I'll check first thing in the morning if I don't see your answer tonight. Thanks again.)

Kissling and Carville looked like fools to me, but then, I'm rather...conservative, shall we say. I think it should be obvious to everyone that the vast majority (near 95%) of the abuse cases involve homosexual sex.

Novak knows what she is. When she says she's a Catholic I just want to scream, "You've self-excommunicated yourself a thousand times over."
I like my son Vince's comment:
she's less of a Catholic than the Dalai Lama.
