The reason that Fr. Emily gives for the secrecy is that the SSPX doesn't want the anyone working for the diocesan bishop to know how much money the SSPX has.How DARE they keep their financial information from the bishop (under whose authority they are not)!!! These people are like the worst kinds of busybodies. What a bunch of losers. The evil dangers of the SSPX: they won't tell you how much money they have!!!
