He was talking directly to the disciples about that moment in time. He does not not time limit it .Does God change or is He unchanging.
He blinded men all through scripture ..are you going to tell me that he decided to stop?
You never answer me ..was the cross a crap shoot..did Jesus die for none?
Is it a crap shoot if he just did that for a few? Or is it more in keeping with Scripture to believe that He did it for all, as he said, but again, as He said, some obeyed not the Gospel.
The stunning fact is that He did it anyway, knowing that some would not accept Him.
John 1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
2 Peter 3:9 ¶The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
