Pope John Paul II will visit Mongolia at the end of August. This was reported by Radio Vaticana who quoted the Apostolic Nuncio, Monsignor Giovanni Battista Morandini, who held a press conference this morning in the Mongolian capital city of Ulaanbaatar.
Mons. Renato Boccardo, the person in charge of planning the Pope's trips, is already working on the itinerary.
The Pope recently received an invitation to visit Mongolia from the President of the Mongolia, Natsagiin Bagabandi.
