SAY NO! to the blasphemous play 'The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told' scheduled to show at the Kresge Theater at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts on May 17. 'The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told' refers to Our Lady as a lesbian!
"I wanted the Garden of Eden in Central Park, and Mary as a lesbian mother, which would certainly help me comprehend immaculate conception." (The New York Times, 12/6/98)
"Contrary to church doctrine, the Virgin Mary turns out to be a flaky lesbian...
"Adam, Steve, and company have gathered in a Chelsea loft to celebrate Christmas and a second immaculate conception." (City Pages, 1/19/00)
This is an abomination. Join our huge peaceful and prayerful act of reparation. (Violence forbidden.)

In the spirit of Saint Joan de Arc, a Call to Action is requested of all faithful Catholics and Christians who honor the name and position of Mary, Mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Queen of Heaven and Earth. Reparation for this public sin is necessary, for if we do not defend the mother of our Lord, then should we expect His Mercy in our time of peril?

I know this has nothing to do with the thread, but when the words Call + to + Action are put together, the vasdt majority of Catholcis in theis forum rightfully get ill. Maybe a better term that Call to action should be used to avoid confusion.

Not to argue, but why would the phrase "Call to Action" cause consternation? What would you reccommend in its stead, since the phrase used does in fact describe what is required?

Not to argue, but why would the phrase "Call to Action" cause consternation? Call to Action is one of the most notorious liberal heterodox groups of so-called Catholics around. Their homepage will tell you why the phrase has such negative connotations here.

Not to argue, but what other phrase would you reccommend? Why should "A Call to Action" cause consternation, since the phrase indicates precisely what is required?

Ooops, sorry for the repeat post--I did not see it appear the first time. I have never heard of this group. Unfortunately so much of common language today has become "hijacked" by the liberals, and twisted into perverse meanings.

Oh my God! I only had to see the name of Hans Kung--and CTA praises for him, to understand where this bunch is coming from... and that leaves no doubt of "where" they are going to end up, if they do not change course.

Call to arms comes to mind but that would likely get us in trouble.
(Violence forbidden.)
This is why I could not go. I want to, I am not even the protester type but this has me seeing red.
Good luck there!
To: jt8d
Don't mean to armchair quarterback, but why not protest the President of MIT instead?
Down at the theater you're only going to be seen by the hopelessly obdurate.

A step ahead of me. Good on you.
I don't envy you the experience of proximity to the people that will be attending that performance, though.

Good point. Many on this forum exhibit great creativity; we ought to be able to coin an equally adroit phrase.
I'm tossing around summon to sanctity and request to response. I like the alliterative aspects of them but they may be too cumbersome as well as off the mark, although they could be abbreviated to STS or R2R.
Task is a good one syllable word that could be used. This needs to be kicked around a while. We need to develop our own vocabulary. Capture the flag.

We don't need "Call to Action", we need Catholic Action.

Um . . . not to bash, but how do you blaspheme Mary? Isn't blasphemy strictly an offense against God?

not to bash, but (Thinking out loud...) Why is this phrase universally followed by ignorant/uninformed bashing of Catholics on this forum?
Regardless...
