I am speechless. Dear Lord what has happened to our Church? I keep telling myself, "the gates of hell shall not prevail, the gates of hell shall not prevail."

Dear Lord what has happened to our Church?

This totally defies comprehension! I am absolutely shocked!

My only consolation is in knowing that The Wanderer is widely distributed and read by many conservative catholic and christian groups. I trust word of this will get back to Rome at best, to www.rcf.org at the least. In the meantime, I will definitely pass this on to Michael Brown at www.spiritdaily.com. His web site is a bees nest of activity and this story will gain wide viewership.

I can only say, I am really beginning to wonder sometimes. Especially when I see stuff like this, the bishop of Altoona, etc. "The Gates of Hell Shall Not Prevail Against It"

"I keep telling myself, "the gates of hell shall not prevail, the gates of hell shall not prevail." "

Remember that this quotation of Our Lord does not express that the Church will be insulated from the attacks of Satan; and neither do the words of Christ imply that His Church will survive wholly intact: only that She will not be utterly defeated in Her battle with the forces of darkness.

In Genesis we read that "The woman clothed with the Sun shall crush the serpant's head, while he shall lie in wait to strike at Her heel." Who is this "woman?" The word "woman" is referenced only four times in the Catholic Doay-Rheims Bible:

1.) The "woman" whom shall crush the head of the serpant;

2.) The Wedding in Cana, where Jesus performed His first public miracle (Jesus replied to His Mother, Mary, "Woman, what hath this to do with me, my time has not yet come?");

3.) The "woman" at the foot of The Cross, whom Jesus entrusted to the Apostle He loved - "Woman, behold thy son, son, behold thy Mother;"

4.) And, finally, we read in Revelation of the "woman" who is clothed with the Sun, having a crown of twelve stars, and the moon at Her feet.

The woman is Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth, Queen of the saints, our Heavenly Mother and protector who revealed to the world at Fatima:

"ONLY I CAN HELP YOU."

We are told that one third of the stars in heaven shall be swept away, and their is a good argument that these "stars" are in fact the Catholic clergy. We will see much more of this until comes the abomination of desolation in the temple (the removal of the Eucharist ?)

PRAY THE ROSARY, DAILY.

PRAY FOR POOR SINNERS AND THE SOULS IN PURGATORY.

PRAY THAT THE POPE WILL CONSECRATE RUSSIA TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY.
