If Christ knelt before His Father in the Garden of Gethsemane, why cant we at least do the same? If you want to kneel when receiving the Eucharist, you should be able to.

**This is so to the extent that the US Bishops request that standing be shown as the "norm" for receiving Communion in America was granted conditionally! That "condition" being it would be allowed only if those desiring to receive Communion kneeling would not be denied its reception in this posture. Further: "Indeed, the faithful should not be imposed upon nor accused of disobedience and of acting illicitly when they kneel to receive Holy Communion." 2**
Kneeling is OK. Do you think more people are doing it when they receive Communion?

That's not the issue. The issue is why bishops are anti-Catholic. This is one more example of how they have banished adoration of the Real Presence. They have already banished the Traditional Mass, banished the tabernacles, banished communion on the tongue, banished communion rails, banished genuflections--now they are finishing the job.
