Institute for Trade, Standards and Sustainable Development (ITSSD) ^ | June 30, 2006 | Lawrence Kogan

In this article, the ITSSD examines whether the Western Governors' Clean Energy Plan, which is intended to terminate the phantom menace known as global warming, is actually another back-door’ environmental regulatory ‘takings’ regime that will benefit some at the expense of others.

If they won't sequester contagious AIDS patients, how can they justify it for CO2?

I firmly believe this global warming crap is all part of the growing of government. The media treats it as fact as do many politicians from both sides. What better vehicle to write more legislation in order to keep more power and control.

"Global Warming" and all who support this farce are full of hot air....

Consider these:
1. Increased global temps would decrease our need for fossil fuels, because it is easier to cool our homes than to heat them...
2. Increased CO2 levels make plants grow faster, thus using more CO2.
3. If temps increased, evaporation would increase, forming more clouds. Clouds shield the earth from the sun's heat, cooling the planet.
4. The times that were the hardest for man and civilization was during times of COLD, not HOT! Plants don't grow in the cold, they like it hot.
5. The eruption of ONE volcano on this planet puts more pollution into the atmosphere than mankind has in its entire history. Stifle natural sources of pollution before you come sniffing around my truck's tailpipe
6. This is just the EW's cause du jour. First it was CFC's, then SUV's, now global warming. Tomorrow it will be something else....
