2006 RLC National/State Meeting in Orlando Sept. 15-17
Since its rechartering in 2004, Florida has been one of the national RLC's fastest-growing state affiliates and will host the RLC's 2006 national meeting Sept. 15-17 in Orlando in conjunction with the Florida RLC's state meeting.
Besides taking care of the business of the RLC, we will hear updates from key RLC activists and office holders, free market economists and journalists at the RLC's biennial national reunion.

Headlining the event is one of the most influential libertarian Republicans in America: Stephen Moore, editorial page writer for the Wall Street Journal. Prior to joining the paper, Moore founded the Free Enterprise Fund and co-founded the Club for Growth. Moore is a contributing editor to National Review and a senior fellow at the libertarian Cato Institute. He has authored several books including, Government: America's #1 Growth Industry, Still an Open Door? U.S. Immigration Policy, and The American Economy. He was the Grover M. Hermann Fellow in Budgetary Affairs at the Heritage Foundation and senior economist at the Joint Economic Committee under Chairman Dick Armey of Texas. He appears regularly on television talk shows, including Kudlow & Company on CNBC.
Moore will speak at at the Saturday, Sept. 16, banquet dinner and the public is invited. Prior to the banquet a reception will be held and is also open to the public. For banquet and reception tickets, click here: http://rlcfl.org/con_pricing.htm

The RLC are the sane ones, although my opinion of the Florida GOP is not good right now.
From U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris to the Wall Street Journal's Stephen Moore, diverse elements of the GOP's big tent gathered at the 2006 national meeting of the libertarian Republican Liberty Caucus Sept. 15-17 in Orlando. But their message was unified: the GOP must rediscover its winning commitment to individual rights, limited government and free enterprise.
