Hmmmm. Interesting attempt at a defense here: "Giuliani" -- about whom, incidentally, you've never seen me post even so much as a single, solitary charitable word -- "is an antisemite; therefore, Ron Paul cannot be (or, at the very least, is an appreciably lesser one)."
Y’know, I don’t really care if Guliani is anti-semetic. I don’t even care if Paul is - or if you are. I care about America and what is happening to it. I care that Big Government - in the guise of first one party then the next is greasing the slope to totalitarian socialism and trying to push us down it. Will Guliani change anything? No! in fact he’ll just pass another bucket of grease to the top of the slope. Will Paul change anything? Probably not but he won’t add to the problems we have now.
This morning I took my wife to work and we passed the County Court House. There were three busses from the jail there with prisoners for court. I think I can safely say that most of them were in there for relatively minor offenses but they were getting the full treatment as if they were a bunch of public enemies. I felt sorry for them but I’m not going to go get a gun and try to liberate them.
I feel the same way about the people of The Sudan and Iraq and North Korea. I’m sorry but I have a full plate right here at home. As I remember from my history books we threw off the British yoke pretty much by ourselves with the French waiting until they were sure we were going to win before they stuck their noses into our war. Let the people in these other countries fight their own wars. Who knows, they might win.
But will Rudy or any of the other “top tier” Republican Candidates let them? Hardly. Instead they’d fall all over themselves throwing our money, our people and our honor into one sinkhole after the other. The only one who won’t shove us down the drain with a massive plunger is Ron Paul and too many people are too enamored of the status quo even consider a change.
